SCANDALOUS DUCK

INGREDIENTS

1/2 kilo of roasted and shredded duck

• 1 cup of oil

• 2 bundles of boiled jambu

• 1 medium onion 

• 2 cloves of garlic

• 1 bundle of parsley

• 1 bunch of spring onions

• 5 green peppers.


• 1 kilo of cooked cassava

• 1 cup butter

• 3 eggs

• 1 tablespoon baking powder

• 1 beaten egg to brush on

• salt to taste


PREPARATION METHOD

While the cassava is still hot, mashed potato it. Add the butter, eggs and yeast and mix with your hands until smooth. Set aside.

In a pan with oil, sauté the garlic, onion and peppers. Then mix in the shredded duck, but don't let it dry out too much. Then add the parsley, spring onions and salt and it's ready!

Assembling it is simple. Half of the puree goes into a buttered baking dish. Then place all the duck filling, the cooked jambu and finally cover with the rest of the purée. Brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Our “scandalous duck” is ready. Those who tried it were truly scandalized!
