DUCK LEG WITH RED CABBAGE AND POTATOES

INGREDIENTS

Villa Germania Duck thigh and drumstick;

• 1 medium onion;

• Salt and pepper to taste;

• 1 large head of cabbage cut into thin slices;

• ½ cup red wine;

• ½ cup red vinegar;

• 1 dessertspoon sugar;

• 1 dessert spoon of potato starch;

• 1 dessert spoon of butter.


PREPARATION METHOD

Season the thighs and drumsticks and bake at around 140°C. 

Put the sliced cabbage in a saucepan with all the ingredients and cook for about 30 minutes. 

Dissolve the potato starch and pour over the cabbage, stirring until it thickens.

Suggested side dish: golden potato balls.
