DUCK BREAST IN AIRFRYER

INGREDIENTS

Duck breast

• Salt and pepper

• Seasoning of your choice (¼ teaspoon for each duck breast)


PREPARATION METHOD

Dry the duck breast lightly with a paper towel. Then, on the fat side, make parallel or criss-cross cuts in the surface of the breast. This step is important to make the fat break down easily and helps make the skin crispier. 

Season the duck breast with salt, pepper and other seasonings. Place the duck breast in the airfryer with the fat side up. Cook at 200ºC for 5 minutes. After this time, lower the temperature to 160ºC and continue cooking for another 10 to 12 minutes. 

When the time is up, you can check the internal temperature of the meat with a cooking thermometer. A temperature of around 74ºC is recommended.

Remove the brisket from the airfryer, place on a plate and cover with aluminum foil, leave to rest for 5 to 10 minutes and then serve.
