DUCK WING DRUMSTICK

INGREDIENTS

1kg Villa Germania duck wing drumstick

• 1 tablespoon honey

• 3 tablespoons soy sauce 

• 1 tablespoon sesame oil

• 3 slices of ginger 

• 2 tablespoons water 

• Salt and freshly ground pepper

PREPARATION METHOD

Place the duck legs in a colander. Pour boiling water over them and repeat the procedure 2 more times. Leave the drumsticks overnight in a cool, airy place or place on a wire rack in the fridge. The next morning, in a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce and sesame oil. Place the drumsticks on a rack in a chair. Brush evenly with the honey mixture. Leave to rest for 1 or 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Bake for 1 hour. Remove the drumsticks from the oven and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes before serving. 

Suggestion: serve with Hoisin sauce, spring onions and cucumbers.
