INGREDIENTS

Duck pieces from Vila Germânia

• 2 smoked sausages

• 1 onion

• 10 cloves of garlic

• Rosemary

• 2 xic white beans

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Water

PREPARATION METHOD

Start by seasoning the duck pieces with salt and black pepper. Sear the meat in oil until golden brown. Remove the meat and set aside.

In the same pan, add the sliced sausage, chopped onion and garlic and sauté until golden. Add the rosemary and sauté a little more. Add the white beans, the duck pieces, a generous pinch of salt and cover with water. Close the pot and simmer on a low heat for two hours, or until the beans are ready.

While you're waiting, you could also prepare some braised cabbage. Cut the cabbage into small slices and, in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, sauté with garlic and salt. Now just enjoy this classic!
